Health & Safety Update: We are adopting the travel quarantine policy of Cook County. If you live in or have visited a state on the list, please do not visit SCARCE until you have quarantined for 14 days.

We Look Forward to Welcoming You to our New Facility!

State guidance indicates it is safe for us to re-open and we are excited to invite you to our new, spacious facility in Addison! Your safety and the safety of our staff and volunteers are our top priority. With that in mind, we wanted to share an update about our reopening and the precautions we are taking as we welcome you back to SCARCE.

Now at 800 S. Rohlwing (Rt. 53) in Addison

First off, we’ve got a new address! Due to the shutdown our sign permits were delayed so, for the time being, we don’t have much signage. Be sure to review our directions to find us.

New address effective March 2020:
800 S Rohlwing Rd (Route 53)
Unit D
Addison, IL 60101

Just east of I-355 and North Ave on Route 53. Look for the building with the green roof. Signs to come!

New Safety Precautions in Place

We have taken measures to ensure everyone’s safety in regards to COVID-19. When you visit SCARCE:

  • Face coverings must be worn at all times covering your mouth and nose. – we do not allow face shields or vented masks. We offer disposable masks. We reserve the right to refuse entry for incorrect mask usage.
  • Social distancing & capacity controls will be in place
  • Visitors must use the hand sanitizing station upon entry
  • Regular cart sanitizing will be in place
  • Restrooms will not be available to the public
  • Any visitor that appears ill will be asked to leave
  • Persons that have traveled to or live in a state on Cook County’s travel quarantine list are asked to self-quarantine for 14 days before visiting SCARCE.

These protocols apply to all visitors, staff and volunteers. Please note that this information may change, so check back frequently for the latest updates.
