SCARCE counts on generous financial contributions from people who support our mission. We will use your donation to provide engaging environmental education programs to individuals of all ages from a variety of backgrounds. In addition, we will keep valuable books and supplies from the landfill and get these materials to people who need them. We hand out over 5,000 books each week and, over the past 33 years, we have distributed over 10 million books. SCARCE operates SCARCE-LY USED Book & Record store where you will find a wide variety of gently used LP records, CDs/DVDs, and current adult fiction and non-fiction books. There are also vintage, coffee table, and special interest books, including topics on cooking, gardening, self help, history, art, and travel. All proceeds benefit SCARCE's programs.
