There are plenty of ways to volunteer at SCARCE.  You can volunteer on a regular schedule or you can volunteer for a few hours one day.  SCARCE is open on the weekdays from 9am to 4:30pm and on the 2nd Saturday of the month from 9am to noon.  Volunteers under 14 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.

Everything you do at SCARCE will help protect our air, soil, and water.  To learn more about our volunteer opportunities, call us at 630-545-9710 or send a message to Rose at rose@scarce.org.

To apply to volunteer, please fill out the form at the bottom of this page.

Saturday, July 13 9:00am – 12:00pm – Join the SCARCE team as we sort items, accept donations, and assist teachers visiting our facility to get books and school supplies. Let’s reuse and recycle together!

Back to School Fair (August) – Let’s help DuPage County children get ready for school. On Tuesday, August 6th, you can transport books to the fair and set up.
