Donation Request: Industrial Shelves Needed

In March, we moved to a new, bigger location in Addison. Once we moved into the new space, there was one consistent remark: How did this all fit in Glen Ellyn? We really used every possible inch of that place so well we didn’t realize how much of a miracle it was that we lasted there so long. Now we have the opportunity to make our space more functional so that we can help more people, divert more books and materials to classrooms in need, and reduce waste.

We need your help!

Now that we’re in the new space, we’ve done tons of unpacking and organizing and we have run out of shelving! We still have many pallets of textbooks to unpack and organize. We are in need of 70 industrial shelving units so that we can unpack all of the books. Can you help?

There are several ways you can help:

2. Make a monetary donation towards shelving. They each cost about $180 but any amount helps. Donate here.
3. Purchase shelves & ship to us. If going this route, please purchase the shelves on our wishlist.

Still Making a Difference

Despite being closed to the public, we are still working hard to contribute however we can during this time of need. We are doing lots of virtual education programs including Wednesday Webinars at 3pm.We’ve also partnered with local organizations to help our neighbors in need with books and supplies as well as materials for PPE for those on the front lines.
