We’re Moving!

Update 03/20/20: Due to COVID-19 concerns, our re-opening is postponed. Please check here for updates.

We are so excited to share that SCARCE is moving! As visitors well know, we have been bursting at the seams for many years now. Our new space will more than double our square footage making it easier for us to run our Book Rescue, volunteer program, education programs, and Scarcely Used Books & Records. Most of all, it will be a much better space to serve you!

If that weren’t enough good news, our new location is just a short 3 mile drive right up Route 53!

New Address (effective March 17th, 2020)

800 S. Rohlwing Rd (Rt. 53), Addison, IL 60101

Our contact information and hours will remain the same after the move.

Closed February 18th – March TBD

The last day at our Glen Ellyn facility is Monday, February 17th. We will then close for our relocation and re-open DATE TBA in Addison.

Scheduled education programs will continue as scheduled unless otherwise notified.

Office staff will be available via phone & email during the relocation.
