Each year SCARCE bring thousands of books to the Catholic Charities Back-to-School Fair to give out to children from underprivileged DuPage County families. It’s a big event so we depend heavily on the support of our volunteers to help set up/tear down and staff our book tables.

During the Back to School Fair on Wednesday, August 2nd volunteers help children (k-12th grade) select books to take home. Volunteers must be at least 14 years old and comfortable on their feet. Volunteers that speak a second language are especially appreciated.
