Each year SCARCE’s Sustainable Design Challenge inspires DuPage County high school students to harness their creativity and research skills to make a cutting edge eco-friendly building in a bid for cash prizes. Not only is it a great hands-on project, students also get the opportunity to learn from real-life architects, engineers, and designers. All this is possible thanks to the support of local businesses from sustainable design fields. Their involvement makes this program stand out as a unique opportunity that inspires and engages the next generation of design professionals while promoting environmental awareness and education.
