• Electronics including: Computers, monitors and TVs ($25-35 fee for all TVs and monitors); Printers and copy/fax machines; Cellphones and telephones; VCRs and DVD players; Small electronics
• Records, DVDs, stereos and video games
• Inkjet cartridges
• Rechargeable and household batteries
• Car, boat and sump pump batteries
• Scrap metal, including swing sets, pots, pans, lawn furniture, garden tools and tomato cages
• Fluorescent light bulbs (both CFLs and tubes)
• Used cooking oil (in closed containers)
• Bicycles, bike parts and helmets
• Eyeglasses and hearing aids
• Brita and PUR filters
• Polystyrene foam #6 (no packing peanuts)
• Books
• Worn American flags
• Musical instruments
• Sheet music
• Old keys
• Yarn, buttons, crayons and rulers
• Good medical equipment (crutches, walkers, canes)
• Documents for shredding (no rubber bands or plastic, limit (2) file-size paper boxes or (3) paper shopping bags per vehicle)
• Goodwill items (clothes, shoes, sporting goods, furniture, etc.)
• Reusable building hardware/supplies in good condition (cabinets, working tools, doors, plumbing, lighting fixtures, etc. No masonry.)

Hazardous waste of any kind (including paint, motor oil, air conditioners, refrigerators etc)

General Info

Recycling Extravaganzas are drive through recycling and reuse events. Residents can load up their car and then relax as volunteers unload the items they wish to recycle or donate. Events are held Saturday mornings.
