Please join State Representatives Jim Durkin and David Olsen along with State Senator John Curran at a free Community Recycle Event to keep unwanted items out of landfills and help local non-profits fulfill their missions to help those in need. This event is intended for Illinois residents – no business waste accepted.
- Paper Shredding: Two-paper bag limit – remove all plastic and metal (CDs/DVDs, page protectors, report covers, binders, paper clips, binder clips) – they are a fire hazard.

General Info
Recycling Extravaganzas are drive through recycling and reuse events. Residents can load up their car and then relax as volunteers unload the items they wish to recycle or donate. Events are held Saturday mornings.
