Being Green: Behind the Scenes at SCARCE – Thursday 9/23

September 23, 2021 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm CDT

| $5.00

Have you ever wondered how SCARCE recycles so many different items – from books to bread tags, holiday lights to highlighters, crayons to keys, and more? And on top of that leads engaging education programs and innovative projects that help both people and the planet? Are you curious to see our new home in Addison and learn how we use this space to reuse, recycle and educate? Join us for a behind-the-scenes tour to learn how we make a meaningful difference for our community, the environment, and our future each and every day.

Your $5 ticket will support SCARCE’s reuse center which provides low-cost educational materials to schools and non-profits while diverting resources from landfills.

This is an in-person program at SCARCE. All attendees must wear a mask over their nose and mouth. Capacity is limited to 10 people per session.

Children age 14 and over allowed with a parent or guardian. Both the child and adult must register individually.
