The Township of Winfield is hosting a recycling extravaganza on September 25, 2021 from 9am to 12pm. Event will be held rain or shine.
Electronics recycling will have a $15 charge per car. Cash or credit (3% surcharge for credit), checks not accepted.

Miscellaneous: Cell Phones, Chargers, Cords, Holiday Lights, Bicycles, Keys, Cooking Oil, Old Flags, Glasses, Hearing Aids, Propane Tanks, Fire Extinguishers, LP Records, Gently Used Office Furniture, Ink Cartridges, Wheel Chairs, Crutches, Walkers, Clothing, Portable Sewing Machines, Musical Instruments, Books, Crayons, Yarn & Sewing, Supplies, Small Housewares
Electronics: Computers, Monitors, Laptops, Keyboards, Mice, Printers, Scanners, Modems, Telephones, TV’s, Radios, DVD Players, Gaming Devices, Stereos
Scrap Metal: Aluminum, Gutters, Metal Chicken Wire, Metal Fencing, Metal Garbage Cans, Metal Garden Tools, Metal Hangers, Metal Lawn Furniture, Metal Pipes, Metal Pots & Pans, Metal Shelving, Metal Wagons, Metal Wheel Barrows, Tomato Cages, Radiators, Water Heaters, Washers & Dryers.
Latex Paint Recycling: Epaint Recycling Solutions (847-666-8351) will be onsite to collect paint. Cash or Credit Card
will be accepted by Epaint at the event.

Flat Can Recycling: Spray paint recycling, $1 per can
Paper Shredding: PROSHRED Security will be available on site to shred your confidential paper documents.
(Service is free; limited to four banker size boxes total per vehicle. No hard covers, binders, binderclips, or books. Staples and paperclips are OK). NO BUSINESS SHREDDING. Partial funding has been provided by DuPage County.
Non-Perishable Food Items: accepting non-perishable food items for Neighborhood Food Pantries (www.neighborhoodfp.org).

The Recycling Extravaganza is a drive-through recycling and reuse event. Residents can load up their car and then relax as volunteers unload the items they wish to recycle or donate. Participation is free (unless noted).
