Addison Park District is partnering with SCARCE for this community-wide event and opportunity to do some fall cleaning out at home! We will be accepting the following items:

• Electronics (anything that runs on batteries or has a cord)
• TVs and monitors: $20 recycling fee
• Bicycles (working and non-working)
• Eye glasses & hearing aids
• Paper shredding*
  • *5 box limit, remove binder clips, books and ALL plastic including binders, page protectors, plastic bags, report covers
• Books
• Records
• Keys
• Musical Instruments

This event is open to residents only.

NOT ACCEPTED: No business waste. No hazardous waste including batteries, smoke detectors, household chemicals, fluorescent bulbs/CFLs, Motor Oil, items containing mercury, tires.

General Info

Recycling Extravaganzas are drive through recycling and reuse events. Residents can load up their car and then watch as volunteers unload the items they wish to recycle or donate. Events are held Saturday mornings.
