One Stop Reuse & Recycling Depot

ACCEPTED RECYCLING ITEMS

Electronics Accepted Items: Computers, laptops, servers, computer monitors, televisions (see below), printers, facsimile, scanners, VCR & DVD players, video game consoles, cell phones along with other electronics and small household appliances. Appliances with refrigerants and all other items not listed cannot be accepted.

Broken Holiday Lights: All color and lengths of mini-lights (Italian Lights(, C7, C9, rope lights, and LED lights.

Retired US Official Flags: Torn, tattered, faded US official flags for retirement services by VFW Post 2377 as part of a Village program spearheaded by Trustee Chester Pojack in 2004 to respectfully retire US Flags.

Textiles: Gently used clothing, pairs of shoes tied together, sheets, bedding, towels and other household textiles in any condition except heavily soil items. Items must be bagged.

Bicycles: Adult bicycles in repairable condition, gently used kids bikes, bike parts, tools and accessories accepted through Working Bikes.

Miscellaneous Items: Books (hardcover, paperback, children’s and textbooks); Brita Filters and Pitchers; records – vinyl, 45’s, LP; musical instruments; crayons – whole and broken; bread tags, ink cartridges (no toners), mercury thermometers, thermostats, and keys. Household Batteries: Alkaline, carbon zinc, nickel iron, nickel metal hydride, nickel cadmium, zinc air.

Other Batteries: Car, boat and sump pump batteries.

Cell Phones for Re-Use Program: Cell phones and accessories.

Glasses/Hearing Aids: Prescription an dreading glasses, sunglasses, plastic frames and metal frames, and hearing ids to be donated to the Lions Club for reuse programs.

Document Shredding available at this event!

Limit 4 boxes per vehicle (Please remove any metal such as D ring binders and hanging file folders. No singing cards. Staples and paperclips are allowed).
