Spring Into Action: Creative Ways to Declutter Sustainably

Join SCARCE founder and director Kay McKeen at the Naperville Newcomers and Neighbors Club monthly lecture series.

Who doesn’t have organizing problems? Are you sustainable and considering the environment? Can we reduce, reuse, and recycle? It seems everyone wants to get organized, but no one knkows quite how to do it. This lecture is presented by a dynamic and passionate leader in the field – Kay McKeen, Founder and Executive Director of SCARCE.

There is a light dinner* at 5:30pm followed by the 1.5 hour presentation. Partners are encouraged to attend as they were design for the whole family!

*Attendees must bring: old/unused keys, and their own place-setting for the meal (reusable plate, utensils, cup and a placemat).

About the Speaker: Kay McKeen

Kay’s dedication to improve the sustainability of our communities has earned her numerous awards over the years, including one of Suburban Life Magazine’s 2015 Women of Distinction and the 2016 Illinois Recycler of the Year and, most recently, Kay was awarded the 2017 Non-profit Executive of the Year by the West Suburban Philanthropic Network.
