Lisle Township Recycling & Shredding Day

April 13 @ 9:00 am - 1:00 pm CDT

Recycling options will include:

eWorks

  • Electronics – fees for televisions and monitors
  • Textiles – clothes, shoes, belts, purses, towels, sheets – everything must be in plastic bags
  • Scrap metal – no engines, no motor oil containers

TVs and monitors require a small fee to recycle. pay ahead of time or with a credit card. $25 for 21 inches. Over 21 inches is $35. Payment can be made in advance at http://recycling.eworksesi.org/. All other electronics are accepted at no charge.

Please bag textiles prior to your arrival. Textiles include sheets, blankets, pairs of shoes (tied together), used clothing. Please only donate clean items.

*This event is in addition to our ongoing Monday-Friday 8:30 am – 4 pm recycling program

In partnership with: Scarce, DuPage County, eWorks, Working Bikes, Cool DuPage

DuPage County has partnered with eWorks and RewearAble to collect clothing and textiles for reuse and recycling.

Items not able to be reused will be turned into cleaning/painting rags or reused in insulation, packing material, and carpeting. RewearAble is a non-profit that provides sustainable employment for adults with disabilities. Acceptable items: clothing, shoes, sheets, bedding, towels, and other household textiles in any condition. No heavily soiled items. Shoes must be matched and tied together. Items must be in plastic bags.
