The Hanover Park Environmental Committee is hosting the Village’s annual Hanover Park Recycles! event Saturday, September 23, 2023 from 9am to 12pm at the Hanover Park Metra Station, 1975 W. Lake Street, Hanover Park. Rain or Shine – Non-Residents Welcome

Items Accepted: American Flags, Books (no encyclopedia sets), Bread Tags (plastic), Cell Phones, CFL & Fluorescent Bulbs, Clean, Usable Child and Adult Clothing, Cords & Wires (Phone, Computer, Etc.), Eyeglasses, Hearing Aids, Holiday Lights, Ink-Jet Cartridges – No Toners, Keys – Household, Luggage, Car, Large Lead Batteries (auto, sump pump, SLA, Marine), LP Records, Musical Instruments, Office Supplies (new or like new), Personal Documents for Shredding (limit of 3 boxes/bags), School Supplies (new or like new), Scrap Metal.
