Event Navigation
Each year Bat Week is an annual, international celebration of the role of bats in nature. Bat Week is organized by a team of representatives from across the United States and Canada from conservation organizations and government departments.
Check out this fun resource for your classroom or organization. Bats are vital to the health of our environment: they pollinate flowers, eat insects, and spread seeds. Bat Week invites groups to host a “Pulling for Bats” event to remove invasive plants and increase habitat and food availability for bats and other wildlife. They also offer resources including webinars and more to help groups organize their bat-themed events. The Bat Squad will be doing live webcasts during Bat Week.
