Volunteers Needed!

Join the Friends of the Great Western Trail and the Illinois Prairie Path for their annual Earth Day all-volunteer clean up! Join in starting at 9am – rain or shine! Help reduce the amount of plastic harming wildlife, polluting our waterways and oceans, and hurting our communities.

Here’s what they say:

We are asking for your help. We want you to help us and roll up your sleeves (but wear work gloves) and pick up litter along these trails. Bring friends and family (and garbage bags to fill) on Saturday, April 27, 2020.
