Barrington Area Council of Government Hosts Office Supply Drive for SCARCE

This spring the Barrington Area Council of Governments (BACOG) hosted an office supply drive to collect gently-used supplies from council member offices. Over 15 boxes of supplies were collected by the municipal offices of Barrington, Barrington Hills, Barrington Township, Deer Park, Lake Barrington, South Barrington, and Tower Lakes. Long-time friend of SCARCE and Lake Barrington Village Administrator Karen Dalton Lange organized the collection for BACOG and delivered the supplies to SCARCE in Addison. The supplies will go to SCARCE’s Reuse Center which provides low-cost educational materials to schools and non-profits while diverting resources from landfills. What a great idea to reduce waste and help the community! Thanks Karen and members of BACOG!
