Join us for a countdown to Earth Day with season 2 of Earth Chats. We’re releasing an episode every weekday through April 22nd, the 50th anniversary of Earth Day.

In this episode, Carol gets glassy-eyed over a broken salad bowl. 
Kay drinks soup out of a pickle jar: reusing is better than recycling.
Container glass is recyclable: wine & beer bottles, jars, etc. (Lids are a different story)

  • Windows and mirrors
  • Glass pane from a picture frame
  • Ceramics

Glass for HAZARDOUS WASTE COLLECTIONS or SPECIAL COLLECTIONS

  • Eyeglasses
  • Lightbulbs
