DuPage County has a New Bikeways & Trails Coordinator
Welcome to Sidney Kenyon, DuPage County’s new Bikeways and Trails Coordinator! Bikeways and Trails is a part of the DuPage County Division of Transportation and helps coordinate maintenance and construction of bike paths and trails including the Prairie Path and Great Western Trail. Water Quality Grant Applications Due January 20th – Open to Any Organization or Individual
Get assistance from DuPage County Stormwater Management for projects that improve regional water quality. Eligible projects include stream bank stabilization, green infrastructure to reduce run-off (such as green roofs and permeable pavers), wetland creation/restoration and more. Eco-Education Grants Available from IDNR
The IL DNR offers two grants for environmental education in Illinois schools: Biodiversity Field Trip Grant (Deadline: January 31, 2017) and the Schoolyard Habitat Grant (Deadline: November 30, 2016). Both offer plenty of resources and helpful hints for applying.
