• Document shredding: Limit 3 boxes per car. Remove all plastic (disks, report covers, page protectors), binders, and binder clips.
• Batteries: Car, boat, lawn mower, sump pumps, RV and sport vehicle batteries. (No alkaline batteries),
• American Flags
• Bikes & bike parts
• Propane tanks 20lbs & under
• Scrap metal (old swings, fence posts, lawn furniture etc)
• SCARCE Reuse Center: Books – keys – musical instruments – LP records – Ink Cartridges (no toner)
• Eye glasses & Hearing Aids (Lions Club)
• Household items: clothing – boots/shoes – linens/curtains/blankets – Hand/power tools – pots & pans – Sports Equipment
• Latex paint recycling fee applies (CASH OR CREDIT CARD) single color paint cans $2.50/qt; $5/gal; $12/5-gal; Spray Paint $2/can

General Info

Recycling Extravaganzas are drive through recycling and reuse events. Residents can load up their car and then relax as volunteers unload the items they wish to recycle or donate. Events are held Saturday mornings.
