Wheaton Native Plant Sale
April 27 @ 8:30 am - 11:00 am CDT
The City of Wheaton, Wheaton Environmental Improvement Commission, and the Wheaton Park District encourage residents to plant native plants in future landscape projects. Native plants are adapted to the soils and climate of our area. They’re beneficial because they don’t require irrigation or fertilizer, are resistant to drought and insects, will not harm or degrade native ecosystems, and are beautiful and interesting.
Plants often sell out so arrive early to get your pick! Cash or check payments accepted. Visit the link for more details on pricing and available plants.
Pre-order a rain barrel for pick-up the day of the sale. Rain barrels may be purchased from two vendors, each support conservation. See link for more info.
