West Branch Watershed Workshop

DuPage County Stormwater Management and The Conservation Foundation are hosting a FREE breakfast workshop in your watershed. This workshop aims to connect like-minded organizations and individuals who are concerned with protecting local streams and rivers. During the workshop, attendees will learn about the management of Ball Creek and the award winning sustainable landscape at Ball Horticultural Company’s headquarters. We will also be raffling off a rain barrel thanks to the generosity of Bedrock Earthscapes, LLC.

7:45 – 8:00 A.M.: Registration and breakfast

8:00 – 8:15 A.M.: Introduction

8:15 – 8:45 A.M.: Award Winning Sustainable Landscape at Ball Horticultural Company Jay Womack, ASLA, LEED AP, senior Landscape Architect, Ecological Design, Huff & Huff

8:45 – 9:15 A.M.: Managing Ball Creek Jack Pizzo, President/CEO, The Pizzo Group

9:15 – 9:30 A.M.: Break and Rain Barrel Raffle

9:30 – 10:00 A.M.: Tour Front Landscape

10:00 – 10:30 A.M.: Ball Creek Tour

10:30 AM: Thanks and departure
