Watershed and Pond Water Workshop

October 16 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm CDT

What is in that pond in your neighborhood? How do our actions impact the life that is teeming in those waters? Chemicals we put on our lawns and roadways contaminate nearby streams and rivers. Heavy rains and flooding events carry debris, including litter, loose soil, and dog waste into waterways causing unhealthy conditions for aquatic life. Residents in surrounding areas are impacted as well with water quality concerns.

Learn more about water quality issues and what actions we can take to lessen our impact at our Watershed and Pond Water workshop, earning 2 CPDUs. The workshop will be held Wednesday, October 16 from 5:00-7:00 pm at SCARCE, 800 S. Rohlwing Rd., Addison. Registration is open!

Registration is $10 per person.
