The Village of Addison’s Spring Community Recycling Event will be on Saturday, April 12, 2025 from 8:00 AM to 12:00 Noon at Addison Public Works Department, 1491 Jeffrey Drive. Open to Addison residents only; Must show proof of residency.

RECYCLING EVENT LIST OF ACCEPTABLE ITEMS

STATION 1: BLH COMPUTERS ELECTRONICS RECYCLING
Smoke Detectors, Answering Machines, Battery Backups and Uninterruptable Power Supplies (UPS), Camcorders, Cameras, Cellular/Mobile Phones, Computer Peripherals (keyboards, mice, etc.), Desktop Computers, DVD/CD Players, Fax Machines, Ink Cartridges, Laptops, Mail-room Equipment, Networking Equipment and Cables, Pagers, Point of Sale Equipment, Power and Accessory Cables, Power Tools (including batteries), Printers, Projectors, Radios, Receivers, Satellite and Cable Equipment, Shredders, Speakers, Smart Phones, Surge Suppressors and Power Strips, Tablets, Telephones (including PBX equipment), Toner, VCRs, Video Game Consoles, Walkie-talkies, CRT/LCD Monitors, Televisions (2 per vehicle) (CRT Televisions, Flat-screen, Projection Televisions, Console Televisions)

Documents (Limit 3 boxes per vehicle)

Books, Records, Ink Jet Cartridges, X-Ray Film, Musical Instruments, Eyeglasses, Holiday Lights, Keys, Brita Filters/ Accessories

STATION 4: ADDISON VFW
Flags, Hearing Aids

STATION 5: REPUBLIC SERVICES GENERAL RECYCLING
Cardboard, Metal Cans, Glass Bottles & Jars, Paper, Plastic Bottles & Jugs, Cartons

STATION 6: VILLAGE OF ADDISON
Fluorescent Lamps – 4 foot & 8 foot

ITEMS NOT ACCEPTED INCLUDE: Hazardous Waste, Furniture, Prescription or Over-the Counter Drugs, and Microwaves.
