Sustainability Film Series: Crying Earth Rise Up

College of DuPage Environmental Club is hosting a Sustainability Film Series around the theme of water.  All films are shown in Room 1234 in the Health and Science Center at COD. Learn about water pollution on SCARCE’s interactive watershed model before each screening.

Free and open to the public.

About the Film

Crying Earth Rise Up (2015)

When Debra White Plume’s drinking water tests high for radiation, she sets out to determine the cause. What she finds exposes the human cost of uranium mining and its impact for the Pine Ridge Reservation and Great Plains drinking water. Sharon Karp, film editor for Crying Earth Rise Up will serve as discussion leader.
