Now open every Saturday 9am-12pm!

In addition to weekday hours, the SCARCE Reuse Center is open 9am-12pm on Saturdays (except for holiday weekends). Qualifying teachers and non-profit staff with current ID* are invited to come and get items for their offices, programs, or schools for only $5 per box (cash or card with minimum $10 charge). *Review our full visitor policy as well as accepted forms of ID.

COVID Health & Safety Precautions: Masks must be worn over the nose and mouth at all times and hand sanitizer is provided upon entry. Entry is limited to 10 people at a time to ensure safe social distancing – you may have to wait outside. We appreciate your cooperation!

Due to capacity restrictions, only teachers and non-profit staff with current ID are allowed entry to the reuse center. No partners/spouses/friends/children etc. Thank you for understanding!

The Reuse Center is closed on holiday weekends.


No Donations on Saturdays
Book and supply donations are not accepted during Saturday hours. Learn more about donating to SCARCE.


SCARCE-LY USED Books & Records: SCARCE operates a used book and record sale that is open to the public open the same hours as our Reuse Center. All proceeds support our reuse center which provides low-cost educational materials to schools and non-profits while diverting resources from landfills.
