About the Pumpkin Smash

The Pumpkin Smash is a drop-off pumpkin composting event held each year after Halloween with locations all over Illinois and across the country. Composting is nature’s form of recycling – it saves resources and reduces greenhouse gas emissions. Help your community green Halloween by getting involved. A free How-to-Host guide and stock fliers are available on scarce.org.
