Don’t let your Halloween waste haunt you! Compost your pumpkin! Drop off your pumpkins and jack-o-lanterns at one of many locations across DuPage County the Saturday after Halloween. All pumpkins collected are taken to commercial composting facilities and turned into rich nutrients for our soil.

With only 3 locations in 2014, we diverted 9.31 tons of pumpkins from the landfill. In 2015, we expanded to  12 locations that collected over 26 tons of pumpkins. How many tons will we get this year?

Note: Remove candles and decorations (yarn, googly eyes, etc) before dropping off. Pumpkins are only accepted from 9am-12pm unless otherwise noted.
