Living Water 2019 Graduate Class

June 24, 2019 @ 8:00 am - 4:30 pm CDT

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every day that begins at 8:00 am, repeating until June 28, 2019

Teachers, mark your calendar for this one-of-a-kind experiential learning program! Seats are limited – registration opens in March.

Experience hands-on STEM learning with SCARCE. Teachers, here’s your chance to “dive” into water! You’ll be fully immersed in the methods we utilize to purify, transport, store, absorb, and treat our water resources. We’ll travel by bus to follow our water from Lake Michigan to the DuPage River and everywhere in-between to help you understand the many aspects of our water systems. We won’t just look at it – we’ll pull on our boots, step in, and learn about the water quality of our own streams. During this class, we take time to experiment, discuss and digest where we have been and why so that you can make a splash in your classroom come fall!

This course is designed to align with NGSS.
