The Village of Lisle, in partnership with DuPage County, will host a Document Destruction Event for DuPage County residents on Saturday, October 27 from 9:00 a.m. to noon in Commuter Parking Lot C just south of Village Hall.

Papers may be brought to the event in paper shopping bags or cardboard boxes (please, no plastic bags).

• Limit (3) paper shopping bags or (2) copier paper-sized boxes per vehicle.
• Must remove binders, rubber bands, plastic page protectors, plastic bags, plastic file tabs, CDs and other hard items (they are fire hazard for shred truck!)
  • Staples and Paper Clips do not need to be removed.

Event staff will help remove the documents from vehicles and load them into a mobile shredding truck, where they will be cross-cut shredded onsite, then recycled.
