Christ the Servant Church in Woodridge will host its bi-annual Electronic and Coat Recycling Event in the church parking lot.

What will be collected?

Almost anything with a cord attached to it! This includes computer equipment, cell phones, extension cords, copy machines, hard drives, etc. Rechargeable batteries, CD’s, cassette tapes and VHS tapes are also collected. All electronics are costly to recycle. Donation fees may be requested for all electronics. There is a $25 charge for TV’s less than 21” (corner to corner) and a $35 charge for TV’s 21” and over. Cash or credit cards will be accepted (no checks). All items should be unboxed and free of excess packaging materials.

What is unacceptable for this collection?

White Goods, air conditioners, hazardous waste, radioactive waste, bio-hazardous waste or mercury containing devices like light bulbs or thermostats.

Coats and jackets will be brought to the Woodridge Food Pantry.
