East Branch Watershed Workshop

DuPage County Stormwater Management and The Conservation Foundation are hosting a FREE lunch and learn workshop in the East Branch DuPage River Watershed! This workshop aims to connect like-minded organizations and individuals who are concerned with protecting local streams and rivers. During the workshop, attendees will learn about the planning, design and construction that went into making the new Glen Ellyn Police Station sustainable.Following the presentations, attendees will tour the site. We will also raffle off a rain barrel thanks to the generous donation of Bedrock Earthscapes, LLC.

11:45 – 12:00 PM: Registration & Lunch

12:00 – 12:05 PM: Introduction

12:05 – 12:35 PM: Police Station Planning and Design Robert Acton, Police Program Coordinator, Glen Ellyn Police Department

12:35 – 12:45 PM: Break & Rain Barrel Raffle

12:45 – 1:15 PM: Meeting Stormwater Needs in Park-like Setting Keven Graham, Sr. Landscape Architect, Terra Engineering, Ltd.

1:15 – 1:30 PM: Tour Green Infrastructure Landscape
