Carol Stream Electronics Recycling & Pumpkin Collection

Each November the Village of Carol Stream hosts a pumpkin recycling event. This year, the village is adding an electronics recycling drive to their pumpkin smash.
The Village of Carol Stream will be partnering with eWorks, Glenbard North Green Panthers, SCARCE, Flood Brothers Disposal, and DuPage County to host the Pumpkin and Electronics recycling event which will be open to residents and non-residents. Most qualifying electronics may be recycled for free, there is a fee for televisions and monitors.
TV & Monitor Recycling fees:
Under 21 inch screen = $25.00 per unit
21 inch screen and over = $35.00 per unit
Cash or Credit Card accepted- NO Checks
By recycling pumpkins you are helping to reduce the methane released from landfills and returning important nutrients to the soil. Pumpkins for recycling should be free from decorative additions like wax, yarn, and googly eyes.
So load up your car with your expired Jack-o-lanterns and unused electronics and head over!
