The Village of Carol Stream will be partnering with eWorks, Glenbard North Green Panthers, SCARCE, Flood Brothers Disposal, and DuPage County to host a Pumpkin and Electronics Recycling Event which will be open to residents and non-residents.

It is state law that electronics cannot be disposed in a landfill so we are here to help with a recycling event. While most qualifying electronics will be recycled for free, there is a fee for televisions and monitors. For details you can visit www.carolstream.org

TV and Computer monitor fees:

Under 21 inch screen = $25.00 per unit
21 inch screen and over = $35.00 per unit
Cash or Credit Card accepted only – NO Checks

Pumpkin Collection

By recycling pumpkins you are helping to reduce the methane released from landfills and returning important nutrients to the soil. Pumpkins for recycling should be free from decorative additions like wax, yarn, and googly eyes.

Please do not drop off recyclables before or after the event.
