The Back to School fair is a one-stop event for health and social services for DuPage County families with children living on low incomes.
Each year SCARCE bring thousands of books to the Back-to-School Fair to give out to underprivileged children. Volunteers are needed to help set-up/tear down and staff our book tables at this event. Your efforts will help thousands of children in DuPage County get off to a good start for the school year!

Volunteering with SCARCE for the Back-to-School Fair
Tuesday, August 6th – Prep
Help load, transport, and set-up the SCARCE book booth.
Wednesday, Aug 7th – Event & Tear-Down
Help children (k-12th grade) select books to take home.
Volunteers must be at least 18 years old and able to stand for an entire 2-hour shift. Bilingual volunteers are especially appreciated!
