Addison Paint Recycling

Residents and local businesses are invited to recycle latex paint at this event. Liquid paint cannot be disposed of in the trash or recycling so take advantage of this local option.

Latex Paint = $1.00/quart; $3.00/gallon can; $10.00/5-gallon pail
This event is offered in partnership with ePaint Recycling Solutions, the Village of Addison, SCARCE and DuPage County.
Additional Options
The Regional Household Hazardous Waste Facility in Naperville accepts oil-based paints and stains from residents for free. Paint collected here is used for energy production.
Latex paint may be dried out at home (sawdust or cat litter may be used to speed up the process) and when fully dry, disposed of in the trash.
Many local Ace Hardware stores offer paint and stain recycling during business hours for a fee. A list of local sites may be found here.
Some Recycling Extravaganzas may also offer fee-based paint collection. Review details for each event to find out if they are accepting paint.
