A New dynamic Environmental Program for Students K-3rd Grade. This 45-minute presentation leaving students with a greater connection to the land that we live on here in Illinois: The Prairie!

The Deep Roots Program experience creates an innate connection for children to the natural world through music, imagination, dance and storytelling.

Eagle leads children in musical and imaginative experiences as they transform into plants and animals of the prairie.

Owl

Jean Kent 

Environmental Educator with award-winning non-profit S.C.A.R.C.E.  (School and Community Assistance for Recycling and Composting Education)

Owl teaches children about the interdependence of all life on the prairie. The plants provide food and shelter for the animals, birds, and bugs. 

Costume design: our exclusive signature costume designs are created solely by reused, repurposed materials by Costume Designer/Creator Jillian Gryzlak

This assembly-style performance can take a number of shapes and forms, from workshops and residency programs for elementary schools, to park districts and forest preserves. 

The intended audience is early elementary school, from kindergarten to 3rd grade.
