This is a drive-thru recycling and disposal events for residents of DuPage County. Participation is free unless otherwise noted.

Accepted Items

• Documents for shredding – paper only – Funded in part by DuPage County
  • Strict 3 box limit (size of standard copier paper/banker boxes).
  • Must remove binders, rubber bands, binder clips, page protectors, plastic bags, plastic file tabs, CDs and other hard items (they are fire hazard for shred truck!)
    • Staples and Paper Clips do not need to be removed.
      
• Syringes: Collect your household-generated medical sharps (needles, syringes, lancets etc) in a thick plastic container such as a detergent bottle. Secure the lid with tape, label as “sharps” and bring to the Wheaton event for safe disposal. Offered in partnership with the DuPage County Sheriff.

• Latex Paint (fee-based): Recycle your old latex paint. Services provided by ePaint Recycling.

General Info

This is a drive-thru recycling and disposal events for residents of DuPage County. Participation is free unless otherwise noted. Residents can load up their car and then relax as volunteers unload the items they wish to recycle or donate. Events are held Saturday mornings.
